Endurance Cup

All you need to know about the Endurance Race

Dates

All dates (except Misano, where no Endurance Race is allowed to be held).

Rules / Regulations

The Endurance Race usually lasts 2 hours.

We expect all registered riders to already have track experience.

The rules are intentionally kept simple to appeal to newcomers. Fun, adventure, and excitement in the Endurance Race are the focus of this cup – not technical or financial advantages.

In addition to the rules set by the organizer or track management, participants must also comply with the regulations of the event organizers.

Participation Conditions

  • All participants may take part in the Endurance Races free of charge.
  • Endurance is a team sport. Each team must register a team captain and at least three riders. There is no upper limit to the number of riders in a team. This allows motorcycle dealers, resellers, or clubs to participate.
  • Each rider uses their own motorcycle.
  • Teams with only one motorcycle are not allowed.
  • There are no tuning restrictions or tire regulations. However, noise regulations of the racetrack must be observed.
  • All street accessories (e.g., luggage racks, mirrors, turn signals, and glass parts) must be removed. Motorcycles that do not meet these requirements are not allowed on the track.

General Rules

Schedule and Participation:

  • Check the event schedule and adhere to it.
  • All team members must attend the briefings and check their position in the starting grid beforehand.

Starting Numbers:

  • All motorcycles of a team must have the same starting number.
  • The starting number must be clearly visible on the fairing.

Transponder:

  • The transponder is passed between riders in the pit lane.
  • Incorrect mounting, which may result in missing lap times, will lead to team disqualification.

Race:

  • Race Start: Three calls will be announced via the pit lane speakers. On the third and final call, the team's starter (not necessarily the captain) has 2 minutes to position themselves in the pit lane at their starting spot.
  • Once the flag is waved and the light turns green, the first rider starts and holds the field together. During this lap, overtaking is prohibited.
  • There is no warm-up lap. The race officially begins as soon as the start/finish line is crossed.
  • Do not miss the third call – otherwise, the team will have to start from the pit lane after all other riders have crossed the start/finish line.

Pit Lane:

  • The speed limit in the pit lane is 60 km/h.
  • The engine must be turned off during refueling.

Accidents:

  • After a crash, the motorcycle must be restored to a safe condition before returning to the track.

Safety Car:

  • Never overtake the Safety Car. Maintain your position in the queue. If overtaken by mistake, fall back to your original position.
  • Driver changes are permitted during the Safety Car phase. Rejoining the track is allowed only once the Safety Car and its trailing riders have passed, and the light turns green for 30 seconds.

Conduct:

  • Riders who act dangerously, aggressively, or rudely will be summoned to race control and may be disqualified.

Points System

1st place: 25 points
