X2-Cup – Rules and Regulations

The X2 Cup Series SSP 2019, SBK 2019, will be part of actionbike's race weekends. The series is held under the respective registered riders. Double entries in the class SSP and SBK are not permitted. For the ItaloClass and BOT / 750ccm an additional entry in SBK is allowed.

The Cup is an international amateur rider series, therefore, riders from non-EU countries can register. A racing license is not required.

The rating is in the classes:

  • X2 Cup SSP
  • X2 Cup SBK

Class SSP permitted motorcycles are:

  • Over 400 cc to 600 cc / 4-stroke, 4 cylinders
  • Over 600 cc to 675 cc / 4 stroke, 3 cylinders
  • Over 600 cc to 750 cc / 4 stroke, 2 cylinders

Class SBK permitted motorcycles are:

  • Over 750cc up to 1000cc 4-stroke 3 and 4 cylinders
  • Over 850cc up to 1200cc 4-stroke 2 cylinder

Points Scoring Events:

all Events

For the Championship, a total of 8 races (highest scoring) will be used.

  • Two races are possible per event (usually Friday and Sunday)
  • For the annual ranking the best eight race rankings will be taken

We assume that every registered rider already has race track experience

The Rules:

The rules are deliberately kept simple to also address "newcomers". Fun, adventure and excitement in the X2 races are key elements of the cup. In addition to the rules required by the organizer or race track management, cup riders must also comply and respect the regulations of the X2 Cup.

  1. All actionbike participants are free to participate in the X2 Cup race. * For the X2 Actionbike Cup, however, only points for registered riders will be distributed.
  2. Registration costs 180, - € / race class and rider (These costs are due before the start of the season and have to be paid to actionbike)
  3. There are no tuning or tyre restrictions for the motorcycles. However, you must adhere to the decibel regulations of the race track.
  4. All street accessories (such as porters etc.), mirrors, turn signals and GLASS parts MUST be removed. Motorcycles that do not meet these requirements will not be allowed on the track.
  5. Riders can register until the second race event of the season. After the second valuation date it is at the discretion of the organizer to allow new riders to register later.
  6. Riders participating in other official FIM championships (eg Alpe Adria, etc.) can not be registered on the X2 Cup.
  7. The riders are required to check the schedule of the events and to be present at the briefings, starting place, etc.
  8. Riders are required to check their position on the grid before driving on the track. Riders who are unfamiliar with their position on the grid must follow the direction of the staff who will decide where to place them at that time. Otherwise the rider be removed immediately from the starting field.
  9. All riders must attend the briefing before the race.
  10. The start number must be clearly visible on the motorcycle. All other numbers on the front of the panel MUST be covered / removed.
  11. You have to use your own X2 transponder.
  12. Each rider is responsible for the correct installation of their X2 transponder. (See the information below)
  13. Incorrect fitting of the transponder resulting in missing lap times will result in disqualification of the rider.
  14. When possible, 3 preparation calls are made via PA (loudspeaker). ("first, second, third and final call ..."). After the first call has been made, the riders start together at the racetrack outlet. Only after the "third and final call" will the pit lane be opened for 2 minutes and all riders present at that time will be left on the track to drive their sighting lap to position themselves on the starting grid. IMPORTANT: 1 warm-up lap
  15. Riders who miss the "third and final call" and do not finish the warm-up lap must start from the pit lane after all motorcycles have passed the pit lane exit.
  16. The starting sequence of the X2 race takes place with traffic light start and in Italy with flying start. The exact procedure will be explained at the event during the race briefings.
  17. The riders are responsible for the proper technical maintenance and preparation of their motorcycles.
  18. The organizer assumes no responsibility for the technical condition of the motorcycles, however, he has the right to STOP participation in safety-related concerns. The organizer or race track management can not be held responsible for accidents caused by a technical failure of motorcycles.
  19. Speed on entering and leaving the pit lane, may not exceed 60 kph.
  20. The pit lane is a one-way street! Motorcycles may only be pushed in the opposite direction backwards, between the boxes and the yellow safety line.
  21. Riders who are under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medications will be immediately disqualified.
  22. Riders whose conduct is considered rude, aggressive and / or dangerous shall be called to the race management and may be disqualified.
  23. Riders who do not respect the requirements / instructions of the marshals or stuff are called to the race management and can be disqualified.

Awards

At every event there will be Award ceremony with trophies for the finishing teams offered by actionbike.

At the end of the Season there will be an AWARD ceremony with the X2 Cup Trophies for the first 6 Riders in the final standings.

Protests

The Organizers will rule upon any protest using information given from the Marshals.

The Organizers reserved the rights to assign penalties in laps and Disqualification, including the right to refuse Riders from future registration and participation to the X2-Cup.

We reserved the right to change any of these Rules at any point in time. Riders will be informed on any changes during the Briefings. he PA (loud speaker) will be used only for emergency or updates/information (status of riders which crashed; transponder waiting for pick up after a crash, etc..)
